The story

The instrument becomes part of you.

After so many years, the saxophone stops being an instrument. It becomes part of George’s body, a partner he learned everything with: how to breathe, to touch, to laugh, to fall and get back up.

His path ran through the Israel Defence Forces Band on bass saxophone, the Tayelet Big Band in Tel Aviv, and the Mimaamakim band, which played 15–20 weddings a month, from small ceremonies to banquet halls of more than a thousand guests.

In Toronto he’s become a familiar sound at corporate events, Christmas parties and weddings, often alongside DJ & MC Stas Ferent of Bowtie Events.

“At a certain point you stop feeling the instrument. There are only the melodies you want to say, the voice, and the breath behind them.”
